I just have to say, it is NO WONDER why Annie Lauries has been voted the BEST ANTIQUE SHOP THREE YEARS IN A ROW!!! If you have never been- you have to take an afternoon and stop by the place! I swear, I think every time I walk in it is totally different. She moves her inventory almost daily! Her eye for design has been there since she was very young! She was voted "most creative female" in jr. high. I know many people thought she was just a cute little blonde cheerleader, but those of us who KNEW her, saw that something special was always swimming around in her pretty little head!
Laurie is an awesome mother, wife, friend, sister,daughter, employee, employer, teacher, army veteran, and business woman! She has spent years traveling around the world collecting things. Most of her off duty time in the Army was always used going all over Europe exploring the world, as you walk around her store, you can totally see how her expeditions have influenced her style. We have teased her often about her ecclectic taste (in everything), and now, with this jewel of a shop, her flare for design has all come together!
She has changed this old antique shop to a place you can go wander around in for hours and even days and always find several things you just HAVE to take home!
When you visit Annie Lauries you will see how much she appreciates the finer and rare jems she somehow finds everywhere, and the best and most helpful customer service you will find in ANY store in Cape! You will explore everything from antique table linens to, old Playboys to, funky clothes and jewelry, to gorgeous furniture pieces to, cute little nick nacks to, cool lampshades to, fabulous furs... I could go on, but really, you just have to go see for yourself!

I have to admit that I'm prejudiced because Laurie is my wife's niece and I've known her since she was hatched.
With that disclaimer out of the way, I've been impressed with what's she's accomplished both in her military and civilian life. She's an asset to Cape's business establishment.
