First Friday Pets Night Out!

Come join us June 5th from 5-9pm for the First Friday Pets Night Out! Throughout downtown Cape Girardeau there will be pet friendly activities including an art walk, pet photography, an adoption event, doggie treats, and a costume contest! Here at Annie Laurie's we will be the featured stop for pet carictures by artist Lauren Bishop!

Lauren just recently finished SEMO with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in art, art history, technical graphics, and French. She works primarily with oil paint but also enjoys creating ink line drawings. She often uses her cat, Evey, as subject matter and says that "This opportunity to get involved with the Arts Council was perfect! Pets are a very important part of families so I am excited to capture each one's unique personality!" The portraits will be 8x10 black ink drawings and cost $5.
